If the game menu does not even appear, it means:
1. Make sure that the video card meets the minimum requirements of the game
2. Update/Install video card drivers if the minimum requirements are met.
3. Install directx if it is not installed.

I downloaded and installed a new one, it doesn’t work either. I checked other games and for some reason it doesn’t work either

If all games are jamming like this, it may be because of the drivers. Try downloading software for updating the drivers (iobit driver booster for example) and updating everything. You may be missing a gaming component such as DirectX, NET Framework, Visual C++, Nvidia PhysX (if you have an Nvidia video card), etc.
