Doesn't CS compress images of a certain format? There seem to be special programs for converting pictures into vtf and vmt format (appears in the list of default sprays) or into .tga format - for easy installation (specify the path to the spray). And it will compress sprays in .jpg or .png format. At least it was like that in older versions.

As far as I remember, it only compresses very large pictures, larger than 200x200 pixels like . But less or equal does not press.
